#1 - Mental illness of people is a big issue. Majority of the people who commit mass shootings are ill and has easy access to guns. Just like anyone can have access to guns.
Trump states that "mental illness is the sole cause of violent acts in the U.S. He also suggests that you would never know who could commit a mass shooting and that it could be anyone. There are many people in this world who are mentally ill and that is where the mass shootings are coming from. It can also come from anger and emotions to why these things happen.
#2 - I suggest that putting more guns in schools could prevent our kids from getting killed and solves many issues.
Trump says that letting teachers own guns in school is a good idea because it would prevent shootings. He uses for example the Sandy Hook shooting. He says that was a breakout shooting and if breakout shootings were to happen, the teachers would be alarmed and armed on the situation.
Why would we let this happen? What of a child is carrying a gun and get into a argument with the teacher and decides to shoot the teacher because the child has some sort of mental issue? What are you going to do? Your saying let guns be allowed to teens/young adults who are barely responsible at there age.
